Train to teach Mathematics and Physics with NMAPS and the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation.
Warwick School and King's High School are delighted to have been selected to lead the Warwick Regional Hub for the National Maths and Physics School Centred Initial Teacher Training (NMAPS) programme.
NMAPS offers unparalleled high quality teacher training, led by Mathematics and Physics experts from the best schools nationally.
This year long, entirely school based training, leading to the award of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE, will take place on the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation Campus with placements available at both local state and independent schools. Both schools have a long and successful record of inspiring students to study Maths and Physics, facilitating the achievement of high academic results and filling students with a love of their subject. The scheme will be led by subject experts at the two schools.

Successful applicants are eligible to apply for the tax free £24,000 bursary available through the Department for Education or £26,000 scholarship from the Institute of Physics.
