Treble Rebles

Treble Rebles is an un-auditioned choir open to all pupils in Years 7-9 regardless of prior experience. We rehearse every Thursday morning 8-8:30am in Chapel and sing in a variety of concerts throughout the year. The choir has a relaxed fun atmosphere and enjoys singing a wide range of music including classical, pop and jazz.

Schola Cantorum

Schola Cantorum is an auditioned choir made up of approximately 12 of the most accomplished singers from across the school. We rehearse every Monday lunchtime 1:30-2pm in the Music Computer Room and sing in a variety of services and concerts throughout the year. The choir sings predominantly un-accompanied sacred music, although it does also explore lighter repertoire on occasion. Members of the choir are likely to already be experienced singers with excellent sight-reading abilities. If you are interested in auditioning, please speak to Mrs Baskerville directly.

Chapel Choir

Chapel Choir is a large, robed SATB choir open to all pupils in Years 5-13. Although un-auditioned, some previous experience of singing in a choir and the ability to read music is highly recommended due to the fast rehearsal pace. We rehearse on Mondays 4-5pm and Thursdays 1:05-1:35pm in Chapel and have a busy schedule singing in a wide variety of services and concerts both in Chapel, St. Mary's and further afield (recent highlights include trips to Oxford to sing evensong). Chapel Choir sings predominantly sacred music from the Anglican choral tradition. Whilst a high-level of commitment is expected, the choir has a friendly atmosphere and singers have great fun participating in a number of Chapel Choir social events over the course of the year.
