This years A-Level and GCSE Students work has been brought together for our annual Art Gala exhibition. On Friday 21st of June parents and the wider school community were invited to join the young artists and art staff in celebrating 2 years of hard work of our special Art gala event. Support was strong and it was lovely to see the buzz and interest in students work.
We are delighted to share that we have been named as a finalist in the Education Choices Awards 2024 for the 'Inclusive Opoprtunities for Arts and Music' Award.
Warwick School launched their first Accessibility and Inclusion week this week.
On Friday, 10 May the U13 Hockey Team travelled to Nottingham Hockey Centre to compete in the England Hockey Schools Championships Finals.
This week saw Warwick School hosting the English Speaking Union (ESU) Performing Shakespeare competition.
Mr Robertson always enjoyed writing articles for the Newsletter, offering food for thought and encouraging greater understanding of Music throughout our community. ‘Mr Robertson’s Recommended Listening’ was a weekly joy for him to put together, and was indeed something that he kept up with when he was able whilst on Sick Leave. I knew that his phone ‘Notes’ contained numerous collections of thoughts and ideas on a range of subjects, and sure enough among these were a number of musings and half-written pieces intended for the Newsletter. The following is an article that Mr Robertson had drafted whilst in hospital at the start of this academic year. Whilst he would argue that it is not yet polished, it is finished enough that it seemed a shame not to share with his intended audience.

Lower Sixth Psychologists are currently learning about the structures and functions of brain within the Biopsychology topic. To bring this learning to life, pupils were invited to partake in a dissection of a sheep brain as a lunchtime activity.
For their third and final concert of the season at Warwick Hall, Orchestra of the Swan return to Warwick Hall on Thursday, 27 June – featuring the talented Roderick Williams OBE.
Joshua (Year 7) has been selected as one of only 4 children to represent Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity as their Children’s Champion.
This Tuesday we were treated to the annual STRINGFEST performance, featuring 130 pupils from across the Junior and Senior Schools and a few King's High School friends.
Anthony Nolan visited our school last week to talk to Sixth Form pupils about the work the charity does to support people suffering from blood cancers or a blood disorder.
