OW Fin Smith Selected for England 6 Nations Squad
Many congratulations to OW Fin Smith who was selected in Steve Borthwick's (England Rugby Coach) first England 6 Nations Rugby squad. Fin has been selected at fly half alongside Marcus Smith and Owen Farrell in the squad.
Fin started his journey at Warwick School in Year 7 joining us from Barford CofE Primary School. He was a very talented Tennis player initially but really developed his Rugby over the course of his Warwick career. This opened up his pathways to Worcester Warriors and England U20s after he left school. Fin balanced his academic work with his sport and ended up with full A* and As at A Level and GCSE too! The current Northampton Saints fly half has been in outstanding form this year and we wish him all the best for the 6 Nations. Fin is the first Warwick player in the professional era to be selected for the full England squad. Well done and congratulations from the whole Warwick community.
Director of Rugby, Tom Pierce says, 'We are so proud of Fin's selection for the 6 nations squad. We really hope this is the start of a very successful career at the very top of the game. Fin was a wonderful school player and we really enjoyed supporting him on his journey. Well done on behalf of the whole community at Warwick School.'
