We celebrate our Music Scholars at this year's Scholars' Showcase
On Monday, 24 March, we held our annual Scholars' Showcase in Warwick Hall, and what an event it was.
On an evening dedicated to celebrating our music scholars, we were delighted to welcome friends and family to hear them perform on their respective instruments.
The quality of music-making on display was nothing short of outstanding; it was a privilege to listen to a group of talented young people perform pieces that they connect with and that represent them as musicians. However, it is important to recognise that the evening was not just a showcase of talent, but of sustained commitment, self-discipline, and hard work.
Special mention must go to our Upper Sixth leavers; their continued passion and dedication for music throughout their time at the school has been inspiring. They have contributed enormously to music at Warwick and the school more widely, and we wish them the very best as they take their next steps at the end of this academic year.
Thanks must also go to our fantastic music department, but especially to Miss Hooker, whose continued mentorship and guidance for our scholars remains invaluable for their development as musicians.
