RAF flight experience

On Thursday, four Warwick School RAF cadets visited RAF Benson for an Air Flying Experience. For most, this was the first time they had been in a light aircraft and a briefing on how to exit the plane at altitude and deploy the parachute did nothing to settle the nerves!

In perfect conditions for flying, they accompanied an RAF pilot into the skies, at which point they were given control and got to put into practice what they had learnt in the classroom. Afterwards, the pilot asked if they wanted to do some aerobatics, and they all got to experience loop-the-loops, barrel rolls, and stall turns. It is amazing to note that they have started to learn to fly a plane before learning to drive a car!
