OW's visit Warwick Senior School
This week, we were delighted to welcome some Old Warwickians to school to share their advice and experience.
On Monday we were joined by three recent Warwickians, who are currently studying the following at university:
- Alex Fakatou, who is studying Real Estate at Oxford Brookes
- Ted Bromwich, who is studying Sports Journalism at Leeds Beckett
- Max Stanton, who is studying Politics and International Relations at Nottingham University
They were able to talk to Sixth Formers about making the next steps to university, giving a range of useful information and advice.
On Tuesday, we were also joined by Kiron Phillips (WS 2006-2012) for a careers workshop with students from Warwick School and King’s High. He shared his journey from school days to becoming an entrepreneur and being part of the family business, Great Central Plastics. He discussed the importance of networking and encouraged students to take risks with their business ideas.
It is great to be able to provide these beneficial opportunities for our students and we are really grateful to our Old Warwickians for taking the time to make the trip back here and sharing their knowledge – thank you!
