Greville House run the Hog Jog for charity
On Friday, 15 March members of Greville House participated in 'The Hog Jog' - a sponsored run to raise money for Hedgehogs through Warwickshire Wildlife Trust as a part of the House Charity Competition.
Pupils ran or walked a 3k route made up of 3 laps of the school fields accompanied by Mrs Stevenson-Ray, Mr Parkinson, Mr Horsington and Mr O'Brian. Following some rather heavy rainfall the night before, the conditions were very muddy with light rain but Greville persevered and completed the course with enthusiasm (and some very muddy trainers!).
Special mentions must go to Freddy, Greville's House Captain, Oscar (Year 13), Joel (Year 13) and Theo (Year 11) who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and Henry (Year 8) who kept up with the older boys and finished in the top ten.
It was wonderful to see the whole House committing to the event and to see boys from all year groups running together and supporting one another. A true display of the Greville House spirit!
Thank you to all of the staff who supported the event and to everyone who kindly made a sponsorship donation to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
