The process will be a unique challenge for those involved as they have not been presented with a script. Over the course of the term, the ensemble will devise dramatic material together, inspired by a series of games and exercises. Rather brave, I say!

In our first session we created a group charter in which the boys discussed their shared expectations. These included: listening to others, sharing ideas and being playful in performance. Indisputably, the drama skills of the group, as well as their commitment and focus, will be stretched in the weeks to come.

Bravery can take so many forms and it will be fascinating to see the creative interpretations that emerge as we delve deeper into the subject together.
