Gecko Theatre company workshop
On 13 October we welcomed the actor and performer Miguel from theatre company GECKO to lead a workshop for our Sixth Form drama pupils. GECKO’s theatre is very physical relying on breath and fast movement to inspire their superb productions which have an international reputation.
He brought professional techniques to the group, giving them tools and the confidence to approach devising work with an authentic emotional physical vocabulary. It was an outstanding workshop led by a performer of the highest quality.
Many of the group will be seeing Miguel in GECKO’s latest production ‘Kin’ at Warwick Arts Centre during half term.
