Christmas Jumper Day 2023
On Friday, 8 December Warwick School held a Christmas Jumper Day in support of the Kissing it Better and LWS Night Shelter charities.
Kissing it Better is a healthcare charity and training provider working to end the isolation of the elderly by bringing generations together. Warwick pupils in each form group created, designed, or made their own DIY hamper and filled the hamper with small, wrapped Christmas gifts.
The decorated hampers will be presented to patients on the ward at Warwick Hospital and surrounding community care centres. We hope that the generosity of our pupils, parents, and teachers will once again have a positive impact on our community, at a special time of year when we reflect on how fortunate we are, and how we can help others who are less so.
A huge thank you to all involved, the number of hampers we have been able to donate is astounding and we are all very very grateful!
In addition, pupils donated to LWS Night Shelter in Leamington so they could wear their Christmas jumpers. We don't know about you, but Warwick is definitely getting into the festive spirit!
