The game started at a frantic pace with Warwick taking the upper hand and scoring after 3 minutes. This lead was short lived and through some powerful play QEGS scored two tries to take a 12-5 lead. The change in scores was a common theme throughout the game as the lead changed hands five teams in the course of the game. QEGS pride themselves on their physical defence so it took a team effort to break them down. It started with the forwards, who mauled particularly well to assert dominance and provide a couple of tries.

The backs battled against some fantastic athletes and eventually took control of the game, playing in the right areas and moving the ball well when the opportunities arose. Two tries in the final ten minutes resulted in a 31-20 final score which sees the U15 A’s into the Semi Final.
