Rugby first term comes to a close!
Unfortunately, due to the cold weather we lost most of our block against Bromsgrove School on Saturday, 10 December alongside our U15As Schools Cup Last 16 match against Oakham School.
However, due to the 3G pitch we were able to get the U16A and 1XVs matches on. The U16A had defeated Bromsgrove three times last season so the opposition were out for revenge. The U16s lost 26-7 in a strong physical encounter, where the team were disappointed not to perform better.
The 1XV played very well in patches and dominated most of the game, however they also came up short 24-22 after leading 12-0. The team fought back from 24-12 down to make the last 10 minutes very exciting indeed. The 1XV nearly scored in the final 3 minutes to take the match but couldn't quite get over the line. Well done to all boys involved in the Rugby Club this term.
We often ask boys why they play Rugby at Warwick. Fun, Fitness and Friendships are the three F's that make Warwick Rugby so special.
We wish everyone a Happy Christmas on behalf of the Rugby staff.
