The Ryman National Enterprise Challenge
On Tuesday 2 April all of our Year 9 students took part in this year’s Ryman Challenge.
This year they were tasked with 'design an event or competition to increase female participation in football” and was sponsored by UFCB ( University Campus of Football Business).
The students had to pick a project manager, brainstorm ideas, identify a target market, create a marketing campaign and then present their idea.
Congratulations go to Regan Brown who was team leader and Freddie Turner, Harvey Wright, Killian Ashe, Jasper Cockburn-Miller and Harvey Flint who came up with an innovative idea for an App called “ShePlays” to enable female footballers to post photos and then take part in unique events to meet scouts and gain new skills. The judges were all impressed by their enthusiasm, professionalism and public speaking skills.
They have now been invited to the National Finals taking place at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 10 July.
