As well as competing to a very high standard in both the Oxford and Cambridge Schools’ Debating Competitions, Atticus has been active in senior debating for the past two years, demonstrating his commitment to and enthusiasm for debating. 

Atticus’s application for this role centred around his laudable goal of setting up all-age debating club sessions. He believes that this will ensure that junior debaters benefit from the experience and expertise of competition debaters, while also offering all pupils fresh perspectives on issues. Atticus himself has led on this in debating this term, working with Year 9 and 10 pupils in particular.  

As we start to think about next academic year, House Debating and the 2022-23 competition season, we invite all of our Warwick School pupils to come along and get involved in club debating in September.
