Mr Bond's Week in Review - 2 February
This week has been about pupil voice.
On Monday, our Digital Leaders led the assembly in preparation for Safer Internet Week next week. The boys spoke with clarity and confidence about the great positives of using the internet but also some of the risks. They also got the school thinking about Artificial Intelligence and how it already impacts our life, and how it might affect things in the future. Well done to all the boys – especially the two, last minute ‘stand-ins’ who took the places of boys absent through illness.
Five Year 5 boys visited the Prep School on Monday to join girls from the Prep School and Kingsley Prep to reflect on school life, focussing on areas such as curriculum, pastoral care, opportunities, extra-curricular and future developments. The pupils worked together fantastically well reflecting on the strengths of each school and the impact this has had on their learning, as well as those areas of school life which could be developed. Next week, the pupils will join together to present their ideas to the Foundation Governors.
As we approach half term, Year 6 are full of excitement over their upcoming residential to Snowdonia – we are sure they will have a fantastic experience and make some lifelong memories.
With best wishes,
Mr Bond.
