Warwick School in the Community
Warwick School has played an active role in the community since it was established 1000 years ago. Today this manifests itself in a variety of activities, from considerable involvement in the Independent State Schools partnership (ISSP) to loaning facilities to other schools and charities.
Warwick School has a wide and varied programme of holiday courses and activities, on offer to children, not just Warwick School pupils.
The school facilities are available to hire with discounts for local schools and charities.
As part of the local Independent State Schools’ Partnership we are heavily involved in an annual programme of activities with local schools, including events such as Come and Try It days for Junior Schools, a Politics Conference for Sixth Formers and Sports Development days for all age groups.
Warwick School is actively involved in the Science in the 21st Century Initiative. One project involves 50 science students from 7 independent and state schools who converge on our Science Centre weekly to carry out research alongside university scientists.
